Hooper Accountants

Hooper and co Accountants have been in practice in Toowoomba for over 35 years.  During that time they have worked with a number of technology partners.  For the past 5 years Hooper and co have been dealing with e-Computing.  Originally with a traditional network based at our premises in Russell Street.

When time came to upgrade our Network, David Wilkes suggested that we consider connecting to the e-Computing network at their premises. As with most businesses our computer network is extremely important to us, however we are not computer technicians and it isn’t our core business.  The relocation of our equipment and all upgrades are taken care of at e-Computing,

We remotely access all our applications of servers located at their office offering us peace of mind not having to maintain the day to day backups, virus protection, internet filtering, UPS equipment, installing software updates etc,  while allowing access anywhere at any time.

This model works well for us being invoiced per month for access; it has allowed us to expand without great capital cost.

John Dee Warwick Pty Ltd

I generally have a low opinion of IT providers and the service they provide based on first-hand knowledge, but my dealings with David Wilkes for the past 15 years or so proves he has done pretty well to have been working on my business for this amount of time.

We’ve sourced from him computer networks, servers, anti-virus applications, VPN configuration, PCs and IT support as needed for each of our projects. We’ve had proprietary software developed for the plant and if there are any issues they are solved quickly – an absolute essential in the world of beef exports.

Many are willing to sell the hardware but aren’t willing to support it and it’s this kind of service we need that has seen us stick with e-Computing for all this time.

The Glennie School

After a thorough tendering and selection process, the offering put forward by Acer and e-computing was selected due to the lightweight, sturdy functionality of the Acer notebooks and the local touch and service promise of e-Computing.

The partnership has ensured The Glennie has the best of both worlds, with the backing of a major vendor and the local resources of e-Computing. The implementation was very successful and The Glennie now relies solely on Acer and e-computing for its notebook, desktop and IT infrastructure needs. The school operates around 400 notebooks, 180 desktops and eight servers.
